A man rammed a 63-year-old from Munich with a sharp object in the back. According to the police, the man from Munich was with a family member on a footpath near Lake Lerchenau on Monday afternoon when the alleged perpetrator approached the 63-year-old from behind, bumped into him and stabbed him in the back with a sharp object. The man then fled.
A passerby called the police. This arrested a 19-year-old suspect at the Oberwiesenfeld underground station who was carrying a knife. It is not yet clear whether this is the murder weapon.
The 63-year-old was injured in the attack and was taken to hospital. The suspect was charged with dangerous bodily harm and will be brought before an investigating judge on Tuesday.
