Munich: luggage transport over the track – drunk risks accident with S-Bahn – Munich

In order to transport his luggage quickly, a man put himself in great danger near the Moosach S-Bahn station. According to the federal police, he crossed the tracks several times on Sunday evening for this purpose. An S-Bahn driver who discovered the 57-year-old on the tracks had to initiate emergency braking after the man had not responded to a warning whistle. The train came to a standstill about ten meters in front of the man.

The route over the tracks was the shortest to carry his luggage back and forth, the man explained when choosing his route. The 57-year-old was obviously drunk, but refused a breath alcohol test, the police said. According to his own statements, he had drunk six beers. The federal police are now investigating dangerous interventions in rail traffic. No one was injured in the incident on Sunday evening.
