This year, the city of Munich is awarding ten grants for authors and translators. They are each endowed with 8,000 euros, plus the Leonhard and Ida Wolf Memorial Prize for Literature, which is endowed with 3,000 euros. According to the culture department, the scholarships are intended to support “promising projects, primarily by younger Munich authors”.
