Now it’s official: Florian Roth is the designated Munich cultural advisor. As expected, the Greens in the town hall unanimously decided in favor of their own city council in a special meeting after the applicants were presented to the culture committee. Since the parliamentary group has the right to propose candidates for the office according to the coalition agreement, Roth should be elected in the general assembly of the city council on October 23rd. At the state level, his future position would roughly correspond to the task of a culture minister.
