Munich-Freimann: Dead after a dispute in the homeless shelter – Munich

A man died after an argument in a homeless shelter in Freimann. The caretaker of the facility alerted the ambulance at around 8:30 a.m. after discovering a lifeless person, the police said on Friday. When the rescue workers and the professional fire brigade arrived at the emergency facility, the 47-year-old man was already dead.

An autopsy showed that the man was injured “many times on the body” and died as a result of “multiple blunt violence,” according to the police. According to a homicide investigation, there had previously been an argument between the man and his 29-year-old roommate. It is unclear what the two had argued about.

According to the police, both men are part of the “homeless and drinker scene”. An arrest warrant for manslaughter was issued against the roommate and he was arrested on Thursday.
