Munich: Four years in prison in an abuse complex for twelve-year-olds – Munich

A 35-year-old has been jailed for four years for raping a 12-year-old girl in a forest near Munich after an online agreement. The district court in Munich I sentenced him on Thursday, among other things, to rape and serious sexual abuse of children.

The man confessed to the crime at the start of the trial and asked for “pardon for something actually unforgivable”. The now convicted “announced his act in drastic, obscene and degrading words,” said the court at the verdict. The chamber came to the conclusion that he had “consciously decided to implement the phantasy of rape expressed in a chat on a child”.

With the act, the accused “wanted to experience his own appreciation through devaluation and objectification of others in order to gain power and control, at least for a few minutes”. The case is part of a larger abuse complex in which a total of nine men are accused of molesting the now 13-year-old girl. One of them, a 33-year-old, was sentenced to four years and ten months in prison in Munich in February, while another is being tried at the Munich District Court.

According to the public prosecutor’s office, the alleged main perpetrator, who is on trial in Flensburg, wrote to the girl in January 2021 via the online platform Snapchat, posing as a 17-year-old. After a few days of intense chatting, he asked the child if he was willing to have sex with other men. The girl agreed because she had developed feelings for the chat partner, as the public prosecutor puts it – and out of “childlike curiosity”.

The investigations against this main culprit had started by chance because the defendant is said to have offered sex with her to a classmate of the then twelve-year-old via social networks, as a court spokesman in Flensburg said. The classmate reported this to the school.
