Four cars burned out in the Glockenbachviertel on Wednesday night. Shortly after one o’clock in the morning, the integrated control center of the fire brigade was first notified of one and then several burning vehicles in Klenzestraße, whereupon a complete fire engine with five emergency vehicles was sent to the fire site.
Due to the heavy smoke, several smoke detectors were triggered in the surrounding houses. The affected apartments were checked as a precaution after the burning cars were extinguished. According to the fire brigade, no one was injured, and the amount of damage to property could not initially be quantified. Police department 13, which is responsible for fire crimes, is investigating the cause of the fire.
