An obviously drunk woman fell on the track in front of a stationary train on Thursday afternoon around 5:10 p.m. in the Karl-Preis-Platz subway station. The 35-year-old was helped by passers-by back onto the platform, but was not questioned further about the incident by the police officers who had arrived in the meantime.
She reacted aggressively and even tried to physically attack officers on several occasions. After she tried to hurt herself in the detention cell of the police station in Au, she was taken to a psychiatric hospital. The woman, who was already on record for assault, was charged with assault, resisting law enforcement officers and assault.
