Munich: drunk threatens to shoot his partner – Munich

A 55-year-old man threatened to shoot his partner of the same age on Thursday. The police were able to arrest the man. At around 8 p.m., the woman dialed the emergency number and stated that she was being threatened and that there were weapons in the shared apartment in Laim. The officers approached with several stripes and found the woman outside the apartment. The site on Agnes-Bernauer-Strasse was cordoned off, which resulted in some traffic obstructions. When the 55-year-old phoned his girlfriend, the police were able to persuade him to leave the apartment. The man turned himself in at around 10:15 p.m. He was heavily drunk, and an alcohol test revealed a value of two per mille.

Officers found a pistol in the apartment, which the man legally possessed, as well as prohibited weapons, including knives, a blunt weapon and brass knuckles. The 55-year-old was reported for the prohibited items and the threat. The Munich criminal police have taken over the further investigations.
