Important step for the development of a new district in the north-east of Munich: After an intensive two-hour discussion, the city council’s planning committee decided on Wednesday to create living space for a total of around 30,000 people on the 600-hectare area east of the districts of Daglfing, Englschalking and Johanneskirchen , which should only be permanently affordable. The quarter is to become “climate-neutral and ecological, with few cars and noise, as well as lively, social and healthy”.
