Munich: Christmas program in the clubs – Munich

Ex-Munich Clara Cuvé returns to Bavaria over Christmas. With a mixture of hardcore, jungle and breakbeat, she gives the Blitz Club audience a festive rave on Christmas Eve. Also coming from Berlin is Rachel Noon, known from the queer underground scene in Brooklyn, she moved to Germany from New York during the pandemic. Bashkka and Sedef Adasi, residents of the Blitz Club, are welcoming the capital’s visitors.

The Friday line-up at Bahnwärter Thiel is less international, but all the more familiar: Aaron Vincent, Sab.rina, H. Maurice, Tuningtoni, Jester & Ilanga from the Schallvagabunden invite you to “Midwinter” together with DJ Cosimoto. The title of the event is based on the “Midsommar” festival that the party and culture collective has been organizing for several years in Hub near Unterreit in the Munich area. The colorful hippie festival has now become a must for the local techno scene. So it’s no wonder if you meet familiar faces next Friday.

For what is likely to be the last time, Harry Klein is celebrating its “Harry Christmas” on Boxing Day, with artists from the Wut, Perras and Unknown Future collectives. After its closure was postponed several times, the era of the well-known Munich club will end next year. By April 2023, the organizers should have cleared their residence on Sonnenstrasse. A hotel is to be built there in the future. Until then, however, the doors of the techno club will remain open on Sunday from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Monday morning.

And also in the neighboring Rote Sonne you can listen to new and old acquaintances this weekend: The artists Arcann, Bebi2Bebi, Caiva and Closure entertain the audience on Sunday night and thus solve Cravo and Temudo, Max Ochtend, The Lady Machine and Tom Altthaler who hang up the day before. Unlike the Bahnwärter Thiel, Harry Klein and Blitz Club colleagues, tickets for the Roten Sonne events are only available at the box office.
