To avoid being checked, the man depresses the gas pedal on the autobahn – and takes refuge in Neuhauser side streets. When he was arrested, he first vomited – and confessed to drug use.
A drugged man chased the police on Friday night. When police officers wanted to check him on the A 96 in the direction of Munich, the 33-year-old man ignored the stop signals shortly after midnight and stepped on the accelerator in his small car.
According to the police, he raced “completely ruthlessly” to the end of the autobahn, turned onto the Mittlerer Ring and drove to the Neuhausen-Nymphenburg district. There he tried to shake off his pursuers from the police by driving at high speed through small side streets. When several strips tried to put him in the neighborhood, he fled on on foot.
The officers finally caught up with him in an inner courtyard on Artilleriestrasse, threw the defending man to the ground and tied him up. According to the police, he then vomited and finally confessed to having used cocaine and marijuana. Several proceedings are now underway against him, but he is at large.
