The Inn is now his Amazon. He has become it again. Because before Josef H. Reichholf left the Lower Bavarian farming village of Aigen near Bad Füssing half a century ago, the mighty, milky Alpine river was his world. He learned to swim in the mostly ice-cold Inn, and it was here that he made his first observations of nature.
