On Saturday morning, a 17-year-old from Munich died of the serious injury he had suffered the night before in an argument with two other teenagers. Now the autopsy report is available: According to the police on Monday, the stab wound inflicted on him was actually the cause of the death.

Police spokesman Werner Kraus did not want to confirm the assumption made the day before that the sting had hit a ventricle. He only spoke of the “upper body area”. He did not give further details with the note: “We do not want to inform the suspects what we already know and have.”

The two still unknown perpetrators are still on the run, they are being searched for. So far, ten witnesses have been received by the police; In addition, recordings from surrounding cameras are evaluated.

The immediate search was unsuccessful

According to the police, there was an argument between the young people in a backyard near Rosenheimer Platz on Friday at around 6 p.m. According to the first witness statements made by the police, the 17-year-old and a companion of the same age were provoked by two other young people when they came into the courtyard where they were staying. The first verbal argument then developed into a scuffle.

When the two aggressors left the place, the girl noticed a sharp object in the hands of one of the young people, the police said. Another companion of the victim, who had left for a short time, only came back when the perpetrators fled.

After the incident, the attacked man and his friends wanted to leave the backyard, but after just a few steps, the 17-year-old collapsed bleeding. He was first cared for by first responders and then taken to a hospital; however, his life could no longer be saved.

An immediately initiated manhunt, in which more than ten patrol cars and the federal police took part, was unsuccessful.
