Stolen license plates on the car, stolen license plates in the car, cocaine, morphine and THC, the active ingredient in cannabis, in his blood – the man the police wanted to stop in Allach on Thursday night actually had every reason to flee.
When the officers signaled him to stop, he initially stopped, but then accelerated and fled, with the police officers chasing after him. The man was driving his car significantly too fast, about 90 kilometers per hour in a 30 km/h zone.
He eventually reached the Langwieder Bach via the Jägerhofweg and came up with the idea of crossing it, but he was unsuccessful and the police were able to arrest him.
During the inspection, it emerged that the 37-year-old did own the car, but that the license plates had been reported stolen. He also did not have a driver’s license. He now faces various charges, including theft, drunk driving and driving without a license.
