Of course, as has been done for a long time, Wolfgang Amadé Mozart’s great opera “Così fan tutte” can also be staged as a sweaty comedy – that’s what all women do. With the evil Don Alfonso, who plays with the noble feelings of love of two young couples, so that in the end they have to admit, ashamedly, that their loyalty is not all that great. A tragic version is also conceivable, with an unscrupulous schemer who drives the lovers into self-inflicted despair. Terrible, but in the end everyone gets their act together again and the music turns the good mood into a bad game.
