Montpellier-Nantes stopped after throwing smoke bombs

Four days after the slap received in Nice (1-6), Montpellier hopes to bounce back on the occasion of the reception of FC Nantes this Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, the Hérault players had to wipe the wrath of their public.

On strike in the first minutes, the club’s ultras marked their return to the stands by throwing smoke bombs on the lawn at the quarter-hour mark. Referee Thomas Léonard stopped the match and sent the players back to the locker room. The meeting resumed after almost fifteen minutes but will be stopped definitively in the event of new overflows.
