Paramount Pictures revealed the title of the seventh installment in the Mission: Impossible series at CinemaCon.

It will be a while before Tom Cruise (59) returns as Ethan Hunt. Paramount Pictures has now revealed at least the title of the next film in the “Mission: Impossible” series at the CinemaCon film fair. The seventh part will be called “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One”, as reported by the industry magazine “Variety”..

Cruise is said not to have been on site for the unveiling. However, in a recorded message from the “Mission: Impossible 8” set in South Africa, he greeted those present from a biplane aircraft. Probably another stunt for the part after next in the series, as the industry portal “Deadline” speculates.

“Mission: Impossible” movies won’t be released until 2023 and 2024

Paramount also showed a trailer for the seventh blockbuster. The clip has not yet been released. In addition to Cruise, Ving Rhames (62), Simon Pegg (52), Vanessa Kirby (34) and Rebecca Ferguson (38) will be seen in the film.

It will be a few months before the two films hit the cinemas. “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” is expected to be released in July 2023. The eighth part of the series, which will probably be called “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two”, should start almost exactly a year later.
