Meet Olivia Sirena: A Dynamic Contestant with a Passion for Adventure
Among the remarkable participants is Olivia Sirena, the regional Miss Midi-Pyrénées. She is already making waves with her vibrant energy and adventurous spirit. Beyond her undeniable beauty, Olivia’s unique background and personal commitments set her apart as a fierce competitor with a champion’s mindset. In her recent interview with aufeminin, she shares insights into her journey, travel experiences, and the motivations driving her pursuit of the coveted Miss France title.
Upon learning about her trip to Côte d’Ivoire, Olivia expressed her surprise and excitement. “Honestly, I didn’t expect it at all because the Misses often go overseas. Côte d’Ivoire was a wonderful surprise, a country known for its warm hospitality. I was eager to experience its vibrant culture firsthand,” she said, reflecting on her travels around the globe, including Australia, the United States, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
As a dedicated student, Olivia balances her role as Miss with her studies in digital marketing. Elected on September 7, she immediately embraced the challenge of her master’s program while fulfilling her duties as Miss Midi-Pyrénées. “I was a bit stressed, but I wanted to excel in both areas. Taking a gap year has allowed me to fully immerse myself in this adventure while preparing for my future,” she explained.
Her desire to participate in the Miss France competition stems from a lifelong admiration for the event. “Since childhood, I have always been captivated by Miss France. After my trip to Australia, I felt inspired to take on new challenges. When my region chose me, it became a true commitment,” she shared.
During her time in Côte d’Ivoire, Olivia and her fellow contestants engaged in various enriching activities, including a visit to a chocolate factory where they learned about the production process. “Côte d’Ivoire is incredibly welcoming, and the experiences we had were unforgettable,” she recalled.
With support from former Misses like Diane Leyre and Maëva Coucke, Olivia emphasized the importance of authenticity in this journey. “We’re encouraged to stay true to ourselves, which resonates with me because I value naturalness and spontaneity,” she stated. “Even when in the spotlight, embracing who we are is essential.”
When it comes to navigating media exposure, Olivia is comfortable and confident. “I enjoy social media and accept that my image will be shared widely. I embrace the reality of being photographed from various angles, even if they aren’t always flattering,” she noted. “I want to inspire young people to be proud of who they are.”
Support from her region bolsters Olivia’s determination. She has actively participated in numerous sporting events, strengthening her connection with the community. “I know I have strong backing, which motivates me throughout this adventure,” she affirmed.
A passionate basketball player for over 15 years, Olivia plays in the pre-national league. She believes the sport has instilled valuable lessons that apply to her Miss journey, including solidarity, determination, and leadership. “These values resonate strongly in the Miss France experience,” she explained.
As Miss Midi-Pyrénées, Olivia is also committed to advocating for important causes. She serves as the godmother of the ’72h’ association, which supports victims of domestic violence. “It’s an issue that affects me deeply. I want to use my platform to raise awareness and let people know they are not alone,” she said. “I’m excited to carry this message of hope and support.”
