Football advisor Mino Raiola has died at the age of 54. His family reported this.
Mino Raiola (1967-2022) is dead. His family gave it in a statement on his Twitter account famous. The football consultant was 54 years old. “It is with infinite sadness that we bid farewell to the most caring and amazing football agent ever,” the statement said on Twitter. “Mino fought to the end with the same vigor he used to defend our players at the negotiating table.”
Raiola made his family “proud as always, without ever realizing it”. The 54-year-old “touched so many lives through his work and wrote a new chapter in the history of modern football”. His family continues: “His presence will be missed forever. Mino’s mission to make football a better place for players will continue with the same passion. We thank everyone for the great support we have given during this difficult time received and ask that the privacy of family and friends be respected at this moment of sadness.”
He recently denied reports of his death
Just a few days ago, Mino Raiola had denied reports of his death. On the consultant’s official Twitter account, whose clients included world stars Zlatan Ibrahimović (40), Erling Haaland (21) and Paul Pogba (29), Raiola referred the reports of his death on April 28 to the realm of fables . In his tweet it said: “Current health status for anyone wondering: pissed. It’s the second time in four months they’ve killed me. Apparently I can revive myself too.” Italian media had previously unanimously reported the death of the famous player’s agent.
Raiola was last in Milan’s San Raffaele hospital. Italian news agencies had quoted the doctor treating Alberto Zangrillo as saying: “I am outraged by calls from pseudo-journalists speculating about the life of a man who is still fighting.”
