On the consultant’s official Twitter account, whose clients included world stars Zlatan Ibrahimović (40), Erling Haaland (21) and Paul Pogba (29), Raiola referred the reports of his death on April 28 to the realm of fables . In his tweet it said: “Current health status for anyone wondering: pissed. It’s the second time in four months they’ve killed me. Apparently I can revive myself too.” Italian media had previously unanimously reported the death of the famous player’s agent.

Raiola was last in Milan’s San Raffaele hospital. Italian news agencies had quoted the doctor treating Alberto Zangrillo as saying: “I am outraged by calls from pseudo-journalists speculating about the life of a man who is still fighting.”
