Minimum wage, income tax, property tax, zero-rate loan… what changes for your budget on January 1, 2023

– Towards the end of the housing tax : collected for the benefit of local authorities, its amount varies from one municipality to another and the local authorities vote on its tax rate. Taxpayers no longer have to pay it. Please note that this reform does not apply to secondary residences. To fight against empty housing, some municipalities apply an increase in housing tax on these uninhabited residences.

– Extended disability compensation benefit : from 1 January, people who are deafblind or suffering from an impairment of mental, psychic or cognitive functions can benefit from the financing of a carer to perform acts of daily living (shopping, taking transport jointly, carry out administrative procedures, etc.). This time of human assistance for autonomy support can reach 3 hours per day.

– New large family card : if you have at least three children under 18, you can apply for the large family card. It allows you to obtain reductions on train travel and advantages with partner brands. From now on, the national printing office takes care of it. Order it on the dedicated portal carte-families-many.gouv.fr.
