The heavy migration towards Europe in 2015 was apparently a threatening shock for many people. They don’t want to experience that again. As large groups of refugees are again making their way to the Hindu Kush, conservatives like Armin Laschet, Julia Klöckner and others are taking a defensive stance and saying: “2015 must not be repeated.”
