With its recent missile attacks, Iran actually sees its retaliation against Israel as complete. However, Tehran does not want to rule out further escalation.

The Iran has threatened Israel if it retaliates after its missile attack. “In this case, our response will be stronger and more forceful,” Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi wrote on Platform X. “Our action is complete unless the Israeli regime decides to call for further retaliation.”

With Tuesday evening’s attack, his country exercised self-defense in accordance with the UN Charter and only attacked military and security facilities “that are responsible for the genocide in #Gaza and #Lebanon.” Iran did this “after we exercised enormous restraint for almost two months to create space for a ceasefire in Gaza.” Israel’s supporters now have a greater responsibility “to rein in the warmongers in Tel Aviv instead of participating in their madness.”

Israel had already announced retaliation after the Iranian attacks.
