After the massive rocket attack on Israel, plans to strike against Iran. Defense Minister Galant threatens that it will be “deadly, precise and surprising.”
According to a media report, the Israeli security cabinet plans to discuss a possible retaliatory strike against the Israeli government today, according to a media report Advise Iran. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu scheduled the meeting, reported the US news portal Axios. According to Israeli law, the head of government requires the approval of the security cabinet for decisions on far-reaching military actions.
Iran fired around 200 rockets at Israel last week. The government in Tehran also supports the Shiite militia Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthi militia in Yemen, which in turn repeatedly attack Israel. Israeli Defense Minister Joav Galant threatened Iran with a harsh retaliatory strike. “Anyone who tries to harm the State of Israel will pay a price,” he wrote on the X platform. “Our attack in Iran will be deadly, precise and surprising.”
On Wednesday, Netanyahu spoke by phone with US President Joe Biden for the first time after almost two months of radio silence. The conversation was also said to have been about Iran. Biden recently stated that he would not support an Israeli retaliatory strike on nuclear targets.
