Iranian missiles hit Israel
Sirens sounded all over the country in the evening, warning the Israelis of what was racing towards them. The Iron Dome, the missile defense shield, and the USA apparently prevent the vast majority of projectiles from hitting. But some find their way and explode on Israeli soil.
It is initially unclear how many people were injured or even killed in the attack. At least one person was killed in the West Bank. Around an hour and a half after the first reports, there was a cautious all-clear: Israelis could leave the bunkers.
