Facebook group lifts ban on ex-US President Trump

The former US President’s accounts were frozen after the storming of the Capitol in January 2021. Now Trump should be allowed to return to the platforms.
Former US President Donald Trump is allowed to return to the Internet platforms Facebook and Instagram.
The ban on the Republican, which has been in force for two years, will be lifted in the coming weeks, said the political head of the Facebook group Meta, Nick Clegg. Trump’s accounts were suspended after his supporters stormed the US House of Representatives in Washington in January 2021.
