Memmingen: Long prison sentences for the accused – Bavaria

In the trial for the murder of a 16-year-old, the court sentenced a 26-year-old to life imprisonment and a 16-year-old to nine and a half years in prison. According to a report by BR, the judge saw it as proven that the teenager drugged the two of them in November 2021 near Memmingen Airport on the pretext of hitting them with a bottle and brutally stabbing them. According to media reports, the court saw the motive for the crime in the broken friendship between the two young women.

At the beginning of the trial, the two accused remained silent about the allegations. The case has been under discussion since August. Because of the age of the young defendants, the juvenile criminal court had excluded the public for a large part of the taking of evidence. This was justified with the poor psychological condition of the accused young people. The verdict also took place behind closed doors.
