Mbappé shows his nose without a bandage in Leipzig, three days after his fracture during Austria-France

Kylian Mbappé and the Blues traveled to Leipzig this Thursday on the eve of their second Euro 2024 match against the Netherlands. Despite his broken nose, the captain of the France team appeared without a mask or bandage when he got off the bus.

The suspense remains. Will Kylian Mbappé face the Netherlands this Friday in the French team’s second match at Euro 2024? On the eve of the meeting, nothing is certain. Victim of a broken nose, the French captain will have to have surgery after the continental competition according to Didier Deschamps. In the meantime, the 25-year-old striker could well continue his meetings in Germany.

Seen Wednesday with an imposing bandage on his nose during Blues training, Kylian Mbappé no longer had it this Thursday. When the players arrived by bus in the city of Leipzig, the future Real Madrid star appeared without any bandage but with a pair of sunglasses on his nose.

Mbappé wants to play but does not yet have his mask

Offensive leader of the France team, Kylian Mbappé should be able to play with a mask against the Oranje. The main person concerned, in any case, wants to participate in this meeting. It is still necessary that his protective mask reaches him within a reasonable time.

Custom-made for the 25-year-old striker, this mask is supposed to arrive as early as Thursday according to some sources. From then on, ‘Kyks’ could participate in the training session with this protection and could thus evaluate his sensations on the pitch.

However, and this is still a possible hypothesis, Kylian Mbappé could well only receive his mask on Friday a few hours before the match against the Netherlands in Leipzig.
