Although respiratory masks can now be bought on every corner, they all have one problem in common: there are only one size fits all, which are too small for many people and press behind the ears – or are too big so that they constantly slip off the nose. In both cases there are helpful gadgets.
At the beginning of the pandemic, it didn’t really matter which respiratory mask covered your face – it was just important that you wear mouth and nose protection. It is now clear that only the so-called FFP2 masks (without valve) protect both the wearer and his environment from the dangerous viruses. For this reason, it is now mandatory to cover your face with a respirator in public facilities and means of transport as well as in the supermarket. That would not be a big problem in itself, if most models weren’t sitting crooked and crooked on their noses, constantly sliding down or squeezing behind the ears. This is not only annoying, it also reduces protection. It was only a matter of time before there would be ear-friendly gadgets that should make your everyday life easier with a respirator.

This means that you always have your mouthguard with you without having to keep an eye on it all the time. Putting it on and taking it off is child’s play.
Another practical helper in everyday life is the Mask box. Instead of stuffing the mouth and nose mask with the flexible nose clip into your jacket pocket, you can store your respirator in a flat box. It is no bigger than a normal FFP2 mask and so flat that it fits in any jacket or trouser pocket. The box is available in four different colors and protects your mouthguard from creasing – and dirt. However, you should take the mask out of the box at home to ventilate.
