In the case of those mask deals in Bavaria that were actually or supposedly ripped off, a confession is due: the admission of a public prosecutor’s office and a court that they overdid it in a case. In the summer of 2021, the public prosecutor’s office in Nuremberg-Fürth and the district court in Nuremberg put two young entrepreneurs in prison for more than two months. One of the two is a local politician from the Free Voters. Because they are said to have cheated the Free State with false corona protective masks. The reason for his arrest was: risk of absconding. From what is now known, that was an absurd insinuation.
