A lot is already known about Alfred Sauter’s corona mask deal, but by no means everything. The Munich Higher Regional Court has now published extracts of the decision with which Sauter successfully defended itself against the investigations by the Munich I Public Prosecutor’s Office. The search of the MP and lawyer was illegal, and his mask fee of more than 1.2 million euros had to be returned to him, the OLG found. What Sauter has done is not covered by the anti-bribery paragraph for elected officials and is not punishable, according to the assessment of the OLG. This applies to all suspects in this case.
