Werder coach Markus Anfang quit his job because of a supposedly forged vaccination pass. New statements by the investigators suggest: The inconsistencies do not seem to be a coincidence.
In the case of the vaccination card affair of ex-Werder-Bremen coach Markus Anfang, the public prosecutor has now spoken out. Apparently the investigators assume that the document is actually forged. The “Bild” newspaper quotes the senior public prosecutor in charge, Frank Passade with the words: “The North Rhine National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians, which is responsible for the Cologne vaccination center, has informed us that Mr. Anfang’s personal details are not available in the IT system. Inconsistencies in place and time
In addition, there are timing inconsistencies in the vaccination appointments. The background to the vaccination card affair has so far been largely unclear. The “Bild” had previously reported that Werder Bremen only found out after signing the contract in June that their new coach had not been vaccinated.
