An e-bike rider died in an accident in Markt Wald (Unterallgäu district). According to initial findings, the 80-year-old had overlooked a motorcyclist with right of way in the area of an intersection on Sunday afternoon, as the police announced.
Accordingly, the man just drove off and crashed on his bike with the 24-year-old. The cyclist was so seriously injured in the impact that he died at the scene of the accident. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital by rescue helicopter with severe head injuries.
