Unknowns broke into a specialty store for pet supplies on Gutenbergstrasse on Thursday night. As the police report, they levered open several doors and searched the rooms for loot. The perpetrators used force to open a safe and took a four-digit amount of cash out of it. Before fleeing, the burglars emptied a powder fire extinguisher in the rooms. According to the police, the damage caused by this, among other things, is around 15,000 euros. The Erding criminal police have taken over the investigation and are now hoping for relevant information from witnesses. These should report under the telephone number (08122) 9680.
