Maren Kroymann celebrates “nice presents”. Christmas classics such as “The Little Lord”, who has grown up, are not neglected either.

In the sketch comedy show “Kroymann: Schöne Bescherung” (episode 18), actress Maren Kroymann (73) takes on Christmas classics such as “The Little Lord” (1980) this year. As the first pictures from the program show, the little guy has grown up in the meantime… Kroymann also visits the elf headquarters with an unexpected outcome. For Santa Klaus Jr., Christmas is tough business. And if Mary of Nazareth, mother of Jesus, were to tell the biblical Christmas story from her point of view today, how would that sound?

Kroymann leads through Christmas Eve again with comedy specialist Annette Frier (48). This time these colleagues can be seen in the different sketches: Mark Waschke (50), Diana Amft (47), Lea van Acken (23), Laura Osswald (40), Nina Kunzendorf (51), Sebastian Schwarz (38) , Katharina Hirschberg (21), David Ali Rashed (20), Altine Emini (28), Matthias Weidenhöfer (37) and many more.

Successful comedy format

“Kroymann” is one of the most successful ARD comedy formats and has won many prizes in recent years, including the German Television Prize in 2020 and 2019, the Bavarian Television Prize in 2019, the Grimme Prize in 2019 and 2018 and the award from the German Academy for Television 2018. Maren Kroymann was also honored in 2019 with the Rose D’Or by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) for her life’s work.

The new issue will be available from December 20th in the ARD media library and on December 22nd at 11:20 p.m. on the first channel.
