Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Verena Kerth and Marc Terenzi. After the presenter was chosen from the jungle, the singer got on his knees in front of her.
In the jungle camp, Verena Kerth had spoken openly about her wedding plans in the past few days. She had already been engaged twice, but “they then separated and didn’t get married,” says Verena. A wedding is at the top of her wish list. “It can’t be that I don’t get married in my life,” she clarified, and in an interview with model Papis Loveday then got down to business: “It’s best right away when I get out of here.”
And indeed, your wish has been granted! After the 41-year-old was the first celebrity to be chosen from the camp on day eight, her partner Marc Terenzi was already waiting for her. He received Verena on a beach. The singer wore a suit, had prepared a romantic picnic. “I missed you like crazy. And seeing you on TV and not being able to talk to you was crazy – because I love you so much. I’m nervous right now as you can see… because I want to ask you if we can meet up never have to miss again,” he said, suddenly getting on his knees.

“It’s fun now, isn’t it?” Verena couldn’t believe it at first, but Marc assured: “No, I want to ask you if you want to marry me.” This was followed by the long-awaited: “Yes, I do!” After the first shock, Verena proudly made it clear: “I really like the title Mrs. Terenzi better than the queen of the jungle. Sometimes you have to lose to win. We’re loooooobt.”
The couple has only been together for a few months, Verena and Marc made their relationship public last fall. It will be the first marriage for the presenter. The singer was already married to colleague Sarah Connor from 2004 to 2010, with whom he also has two children.
