Manchester United wins the catch-up game against Chelsea 4-1, climbs to 3rd place and secures a place in the Champions League. With one game to go, the “Red Devils” have 72 points, ahead of fourth-placed Newcastle United (70).
Means for Liverpool FC (66 points) with the German coach Jürgen Klopp: Despite the recent great race to catch up (ten league games undefeated, seven wins, three draws), after a mixed season, there will be nothing with the CL qualification. 5th place, at least the Europa League as a consolation.
