A man is said to have hit two children in the Swabian district of Neu-Ulm. According to a witness, the 64-year-old hit a 12-year-old in the face with his flat hand on Tuesday evening, the police said on Wednesday. Investigations revealed that the man is also said to have hit another twelve-year-old boy. There had already been discussions between the man and the two children at lunchtime on the same day, it said. However, the background to the crime has not yet been clarified.
