IT problems are to blame, Lufthansa confirmed to several media. It is not yet known what the exact scope of the failures is, when they will be fixed and what the cause is. However, one thing is clear: many flights are cancelled.

According to reports, all domestic flights for today have been canceled, and local passengers report that they have been advised to switch to the train. International flights are shown as delayed. A crisis team was set up at the Lufthansa headquarters in Frankfurt to clarify the problem and the company’s further course of action. They are working intensively on a solution, a spokeswoman told “Radio FFH”.
