A woman gets her neck caught in a used clothing container. Rescue workers confirm her death. The police do not rule out that the woman’s small child could now be in danger.

After the death of a The police have received information about the possible identity of a woman found in a clothing container in Peine. Witnesses have come forward and the information is being evaluated, a police spokesman said on Monday. They are now searching the region for the woman’s origins and her possibly helpless child.

According to police investigations so far, she climbed through the hatch into the container on Sunday and trapped her neck. Because the initially unknown woman has a relatively new Caesarean section scar, officers suspect that there may be a helpless toddler in the apartment. The police assume it was an accident.

The police launched an appeal for witnesses on Sunday evening. The clothing container, which was located in a supermarket parking lot, was reportedly confiscated. It had been cut open and will be examined further.
