Love scandal after the final – David changes his mind

The RTL Rosenkavalier distributed his last cut flower – but there was no happy ending after the finale. However, David Jackson is not single.

The decision has been made, the last rose was awarded for “The Bachelor” in 2023. But at the reunion, which ran right after the finale of the dome show on Wednesday evening, there was an unexpected turn for the viewers. Because in the weeks between the two programs there had been a real roller coaster ride of emotions.

That had already emerged in the last episode. David Jackson just couldn’t decide between the remaining two women. After spending romantic dates and nights out with Lisa Mieschke and Angelina Utzeri, respectively, he was faced with a difficult choice. “I have to tell you that my feelings for Angelina are stronger at this point,” he finally told Lisa. And turned to her competitor: “I fell in love with you and I would be very happy if you accepted the last rose.”

After the last scene, the bomb burst in the RTL studio: David is no longer with Angelina. The decision to separate quickly was made by mutual agreement. Both would have recognized that their feelings unfortunately did not stand up to reality.

David now loves his runner-up

Then the surprise: David is still not single. After all, he found his happy ending on RTL – with second-placed Lisa. The two also made their love official and gave each other a passionate kiss in front of the cameras.

After separating from Angelina, David sought contact with Lisa. Shortly thereafter, she visited him in Dubai and found: “Everything is still there!” They would have tied seamlessly into their story. “We didn’t have to talk much, we felt everything right away,” enthused the couple.

There should have been some déjà vus in front of the screens, because that wasn’t the first time that happened with “Bachelor”. In the 2021 final, then-bachelor Niko Griesert had opted for Mimi Gwozdz, but then came together with his runner-up Michèle de Roos.
