From Gigi Birofio to Yeliz Koc: These celebrities are taking part in the first season of “Love Island VIP”.

On October 24, 2024, the time has come: The dating show spin-off “With “Love Island VIP”, presenter Sylvie Meis (46) wants to pair up celebrities for the first time. RTLzwei has now announced the names of the famous participants. The word famous must of course be put in quotation marks. Because these are mainly reality stars who either made their debut in the parent format “Love Island” or related dating shows.

However, many of them have become TV stars who are known to a wider audience from various non-dating shows. Among them is Gigi Birofio (25), who was in the jungle camp for the second time. The German-Italian has already been active in various dating formats, but not yet on “Love Island”.

Yeliz Koc (30) plays in the same league. She became known for her slap in the face for the “Bachelor” Daniel Völz, toured various shows and won “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2023.

Melissa Damilia meets ex-Island lover

Melissa Damilia (28) is one of the participants of “Love Island VIP” who began her TV career in a regular season of the show. After her debut in 2019, she was promoted to “Bachelorette” the following year.

Spicy: Melissa Damilia will meet Danilo Cristilli (28) in October. She started dating the actor who later became a member of “Köln 50667” five years ago on Love Island. Tracy Candela and Marcellino Kremer, another ex-couple from a previous season, will meet on “Love Island VIP”. “Tracellino” left the island as the winning couple in 2018, but their love didn’t last long in real life.

Yasin Mohamed (33) meets two exes – which is no surprise given the abundance of formats in which the trash Casanova has already been a guest. Yasin Mohamed was not only with Yeliz Koc, but also with Alicia Costa Pinheiro.

Only a few dating show debutants

In addition to the dating veterans, only a few newcomers dare to join “Love Island VIP”. There is Patrick Fabian (37), singer, stripper and ex-“Belin – Tag und Nacht” actor. Or Sophie Imelmann (28) from “Köln 50667” and Kymani Yade, model and son of presenter Daisy Dee (54). According to RTLzwei, he at least got tips from a professional: “Bachelor” Paul Janke (43).

“Love Island VIP” will be broadcast on Thursdays at 8:15 p.m. on RTLzwei from October 24th. After the broadcast on TV, the episodes will also be available free of charge for a week on RTL+permanently in the premium area of the streaming service.
