A lottery player from Lower Saxony started the new year as a millionaire. As “Lotto Niedersachsen” announced, someone from the Hanover region won this year’s New Year’s Eve lottery.

It is still unclear who exactly bought the lucky ticket that won the New Year’s Eve lottery. The only thing that is certain so far is that the lottery ticket was sold on New Year’s Eve at an acceptance point in the Hanover region. Whoever it was, was able to celebrate not only New Year’s Eve, but also a huge windfall at midnight.
The winning numbers were drawn on December 31, 2022 and should have given a lucky guy a particularly pleasant financial start to the new year. For the six correct final digits, the lucky one can look forward to one million euros.
