A man from Bremen has won more than 107 million euros in the lottery. He still doesn’t want to give up his job – but at least he wants to enjoy travel and free time.

The sum is almost unimaginable: the winnings from the Eurojackpot this week totaled 107.5 million euros. More precisely: 107,469,011.20 euros. In the meantime, the lucky guy has also reported: As the lottery company Westlotto announced, the prize goes to the smallest German state, Bremen. The lucky lottery player is therefore a 61-year-old man from Bremerhaven.

The winning numbers 20, 21, 30, 41 and 43 as well as the two euro numbers 10 and 11 gave him an amount that he has taken care of for the rest of his life. For the time being, the winner wants to remain anonymous, the lottery companies strongly advise it for security reasons – especially with such an immensely high sum. The man didn’t want to reveal too much about himself, but he did reveal what he intends to do with his millions.

Lottery winner from Bremen wants to stay down to earth

Apparently, the 61-year-old does not imagine life in the lap of luxury, his plans initially sound very down-to-earth: Despite his 107 million win, he wants to continue doing his job, the lucky guy explained to the lottery provider “Lotto 24”. With all the money he wants to travel the world with his family and enjoy more free time. The Bremerhaven sees “true luxury” in this.

The man found out on the evening of the drawing on Tuesday that he is now more than a hundred times a millionaire. As a result, he didn’t sleep a wink the following night, the winner said. Nevertheless: “Endless joy” felt the North German in view of his win. However, he does not want to fundamentally change his life – in contrast to the prominent lottery winner Chico, who “only” cleared ten million euros last year and then showed off expensive cars and luxury clothes in the media and on Instagram.

But one thing is clear: life will now change fundamentally for the lottery winner from Bremerhaven. His declared goal: staying on the ground – with 107 million euros in the account, it might not be that easy.
