from

Moritz Geier

In June of this year Willi Korte received a message that had to look like a treasure map to him. At an auction house in London, he reads in the email, a work by the Flemish painter Lucas van Valckenborch is for sale, 1594, market scene in Frankfurt am Main. The picture is said to bring in up to 500,000 British pounds. Korte knows immediately what to do. It has to be done quickly now.
