Long Covid and the psychosomatic culture

In the debate about Long Covid and related severe fatigue syndromes, there seems to have been a sleazeball recently that nobody wants to play with: psychosomatic approaches. If the complaints, the pain, the severe exhaustion, the shortness of breath are caused by psychosomatic factors, then that would mean as much as: You are “only” psychological, so to speak: “just imagined”. However, the suffering of those affected is in no way taken seriously. Because: They are there, they are real! According to this logic, real suffering can only be those that can be fully traced back to biological factors, a disturbed immune response, a pathologically altered coagulation system or at least to altered genes.
