Ukraine said on Friday it had intercepted “all” Russian missiles and drones that targeted Kiev overnight, injuring at least two, the sixth attack in as many days on the capital. “All 15 (Russian) cruise missiles and 21 attack drones were destroyed by air defense,” the Ukrainian Air Force said on social media Telegram.
According to the head of the local military administration, Serguïi Popko, Russia used X-101/555 type missiles and Shahed explosive drones. “Terror on kyiv with air attacks continues,” he lamented on Telegram.
“In the past six days, the (Russians) have already carried out their sixth airstrike on the city,” he blasted as the Ukrainian capital is once again targeted by the Russian military after a lull in recent months . According to the Ukrainian General Prosecutor’s Office, which opened an investigation, “an 11-year-old child was injured (and) a 68-year-old man hospitalized” following this “massive attack”.
