PSG announce the departure of Messi
As with Sergio Ramos on Friday evening, PSG announces the departure of Lionel Messi. The Argentinian is at the end of his contract and will therefore leave Paris free.
“After two seasons in the capital, the adventure between Leo Messi and Paris Saint-Germain will come to an end at the end of the 2022-23 financial year. The club wishes, with certain emotion, many more successes for Leo for the rest of his career”, writes the PSG.
“Thank you to the club, to the city of Paris and to its people for these two years. I wish them the best for the future,” Messi said in the club statement.
The last game for Ramos, Messi and Galtier
This match is also the last appearance at the Parc des Princes of Christophe Galtier as Parisian coach, and of Lionel Messi. But also Sergio Ramos with the colors of the champion of France.
