Sophie Tissier, one of the figures of the yellow vests movement, told BFMTV this Sunday that she had seized the LFI committee against sexist and sexual violence.
She is the first woman to enter this committee. On Saturday, she said on Twitter: “I attest. Coquerel stalker with sticky wandering hands and inappropriate assaults in 2014”.

Guest of BFMTV this Sunday, the LFI deputy from the North David Guiraud rejected the rumors concerning Éric Coquerel and his attitude towards women.
“There is nothing that is conclusive. No element that would allow us to say that Éric Coquerel would have assaulted someone”, he indicated on our antenna.
He made a point of recalling that for four years he had been director of the cabinet of the new president of the Finance Committee of the Assembly.
“There is a rumor that was built on elements that did not exist, with false things,” continued David Guiraud. “There is no smoke without fire. But sometimes, yes”, he concluded.
Coquerel implicated for his behavior with women: Mélenchon denounces attacks “without facts or evidence”
LFI boss Jean-Luc Mélenchon comes to the rescue of the new president of the LFI finance committee, questioned by feminist activist Rokhaya Diallo for “his behavior with women”.
Saying he was “disgusted by the attacks”, the former presidential candidate denounced on Twitter on Saturday accusations made “without facts or evidence” and an “instrumentalization” of the fight against violence against women.

Éric Coquerel, the new chairman of the LFI finance commission (La France Insoumise), lamented in a column published on Saturday in the online edition of the Sunday newspaper“unfounded rumors”, while he is implicated by feminist activist Rokhaya Diallo for “his behavior with women”.
