Why Le Graët’s departure from the presidency is no longer in doubt

As investigators hand over the audit commissioned by the Ministry of Sports on Monday about governance at the FFF, the fate of Noël Le Graët seems to be becoming clearer. The president of the French Football Federation is currently on the back burner. But his departure is looming.

Since his interview on the antenna of RMC at the beginning of January, Noël Le Graët is going through a very turbulent period. Its fall is inevitable, it remains to know the date. In office since 2011, the 81-year-old Breton still clings to his seat for a few days. Since the beginning of January, the pressure has been so strong that some of his relatives are worried about his state of health.

Return of the audit, departure from Le Graët, financial audit to come… the FFF begins 10 days under very high tension

The inspectors in charge of the audit at the French Football Federation are handing over this Monday, to the various stakeholders, the document ordered by the Ministry of Sports in September. The protagonists will have ten days to provide comments in order to complete this “contradictory” part.

This report is eagerly awaited and could have serious consequences for the first sports federation in France. Behind the scenes, on all sides, the media response is being prepared.

What results for Le Graët?

If the defenders of Noël Le Graët defend his financial record at the head of the FFF, our journalist Daniel Riolo has another vision.

The Hardouin clan also charges Le Graët

It is by a pithy declaration at the turn of a paper of the world on the case that Dominique Rouch, spokesperson for Florence Hardouin, director general laid off by the executive committee, explains that the former DG was the victim of the actions of Noël Le Graët: “The layoff of Mrs. Hardouin comes forty-eight hours after she confided in several people about acts of sexual and moral harassment she suffered from Mr. Le Graët. She also explains that Florence Hardouin has remained silent until then for “in order to protect the institution, his family and his position.

The full audit report will not be sent to everyone

The inspectors in charge of the audit informed the FFF on Tuesday that the provisional report would be sent next Monday, January 30, as expected. But not all parties will have the full report, which should be less than 40 pages in total.

Noël Le Graët will only receive the part dedicated to him. Ditto for Florence Hardouin. And Philippe Diallo, as interim president of the FFF, will only receive the part relating to the functioning of the body. The other members of the executive committee will therefore not receive a copy of this report on Monday.

From Monday, Noël Le Graët and Florence Hardouin will have a maximum of 10 days to communicate their observations to the inspectors who will then write the final report with these elements. It is therefore around February 15 that the final, official and contradictory report will be sent to the president of the FFF who can then send it to the members of the Comex. An executive committee specially dedicated to this report will then meet soon after to decide on the situation of Noël Le Graët.
